Eco-prisoners
The focus of Earth First! prisoner support is on eco-prisoners, caged animal liberationists and prisoners of indigenous land struggles, who show a bio-centric viewpoint in their activism that influenced their legal case.

The Elicura 8 (Eliseo Raiman Coliman, Matias Leviqueo Concha, Guillermo Camus Jara, Carlos Huichacura Leviqueo, Manuel Huichacura Leviqueo, Esteban Huichacura Leviqueo, Francisco Medina Huichacura and Bernardo Antonio Camus Parra) are part of a larger Mapuche movement resisting forestry companies, hydroelectric projects, and large landholders in defense of their ancestral territories. Direct-action land recuperations and the reconstruction of Mapuche ways of living on their recuperated territories have been pivotal to this resistance. Prisoner Solidarity Wiki Profile
Prisoners of Allied Struggles
We also stand in solidarity with people facing imprisonment for their beliefs and actions reflecting a broader vision towards liberation from the oppressive systems. There are over fifty political prisoners and prisoners of war held in the US, and many more politicized prisoners. The following are some of those prisoners from struggles that are allied with the Earth First! movement.
Prairieland Defendants
The Prairieland case is a political repression case stemming from a protest in solidarity with ICE Detainees that occurred on July 4th at the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, south of Fort Worth. There are currently 18 defendants facing life-altering state and federal charges. All but one are still in custody, being held on multi-million dollar bails and enduring horrific conditions. The accusations of the government are absurd, and the police response has been extreme, making it obvious that this is part of an effort to criminalize dissent along with the other high profile cases in Spokane, Portland, and Illinois. It has repeatedly been used by the Trump administration and its allies as an example of violence by “antifa.”2
EF! prisoner support is ONLY for those who refuse to cooperate with law enforcement. Cooperation entails the passing of any information to law enforcement which can be used to subpoena, arrest or prosecute another person. This includes (but is not limited to) giving agents the names, locations, activities or associations of other individuals, whether before, during or after trial. There is never an excuse to aid law enforcement. If an individual cooperates with the government, our support will end immediately. People that accept plea agreements but do not provide information or agree to provide information about other people still deserve and will receive support. Visit the Informants Page for details and updates about government informants, many of whom are cooperating co-defendants of former or current prisoners we support.
