EF! Summer Gathering 2026 Announcement!

Come one come all to the 2026 EF! Summer Gathering! We will be gathering in the old growth conifer forests of the PNW to inspire each other and sharpen our tools of collectively resisting environmental destruction. As we face down worsening ecological collapse, authoritarianism, surveillance and repression, we invite everyone who loves the wild to gather, connect, learn and discuss what is to be done. This will be a week of workshops, conversations and revelry that will hopefully bring you closer to the people and skills needed to fight empire and ecocide in your home.

This summer’s gathering will take place on occupied territory of Coast Salish peoples. A more specific location will be released closer to the date. The closest airports will be Seattle and Portland.

Follow along at @earthfirstjournal on instagram and earthfirstjournal.noblogs.org.

We are currently seeking workshop, panel & other presentation proposals. We’d love to hear from you if you have something you would like to present or if there is a topic you’d like to see covered. Write us at hotEFsummerpnw@proton.me with ideas & proposals.

Hello world!

This winter, “Earth First! Journal” has migrated to NOBLOGS! We got a little lost in the woods…

First off, the website “earthfirstjournal.news” is dead (much like earthfirstjournal.org), but death is not a stagnant force. The domain name was bought out some fuck ass AI advertising and turned our site into a billboard. This happened because of some lapse in our books and all this digital mumbo-jumbo. Regardless, Earth First! Journal is still strong, with an issue scheduled to release sometime February. Subscription information was unharmed in this migration but if you would like to update your information, please reach out over email. Since we don’t have the digital infrastructure currently, we will not be selling new subscriptions for this coming issue. This website will begin to grow back into a thicket of environmental news, magazine subscriptions and merch, and information on coming gatherings and events. It may take us a while to claw our way up the search page to replace our old site, so please share the news and check back in for updates! To reach out to the journal collective, our email address is earthfirstjournal@protonmail.com.

Stay Wild, Earth First! Journal Collective
